Review Of The Calipso Compact Filofax

The Calipso compact is a vision of class and style. It comes in a variety of summery colours which include, bright blue, deep pink, teal, burnt orange and solar yellow. The leather is soft, textured and very very squashy! You'll want to hold it for hours, I honestly did when I had received it! The clasp is very strong so (would not pop open) its very well made! The clasp is also a different texture to the grained leather, so gives a nice attractive look to the binder. Inside you will find four card pockets, easy to put cards in and take cards out. These are vertical card slot pockets. When receiving the Filofax you should have the 2013 and 2014 inserts so you are ready for next year, as well as the black today ruler to keep track of where you are in your Filofax. In this binder you will also receive dividers from A to Z in which you can use for address filing or phone number filing incase (god forbid) you lost your phone!  After the dividers there is lined Filofax paper for any notes, shopping lists or important information you want to quickly jot down! On the whole, this Filofax is like a little handheld cushion, squidgy on the outside, full in the inside! With a flexible pen loop, strong clasp, five great colours to choose from, you cannot go wrong with this Filofax!

My Current A5 Finsbury Set-Up For May 2013!

Hey to everyone who is following me so far. My blog is feeling a bit depressed today as I havent had any new followers this month. Although my YouTube channel is doing much better and I'm so happy to now have 173 subscribers YAY! Hopefully next week I will be holding a giveaway contest to entice more people to visit my blog! If anyone has any ideas of how to gain more followers to my blog I would be really grateful! 

Well onto the best part! I have taken some photos of my most recent set-up of my A5 Finsbury which I adore! I just cannot bare to be apart from my a5 Finsbury, and yet I should be changing into another Filofax for next month...I'm not sure I can. Well recently I made a kind of title page for my Filofax and seeing as its pink and girly I thought Id use a Hello Kitty picture on the front. Last month I was not using the month on two pages as well as I should be but came up with a solution! After purchasing some rather large, round, assorted, coloured stickers I started to wonder how I could use them. I thought , well they are too big as reminder dots and I would like to stick with the smaller ones, so I could possibly use them on my month on two pages! I could write on each sticker perhaps a direct debit that would be taken out on that day or a payday or perhaps when a bill needs to be paid. That way it will stand out more, give my month on two pages a boost of life and would be much easier for me to see straight away when something needs to be paid or whats going out of my account. I'm now happy I have good use for my month on two pages.

The year at a glance page, this is where I keep track of my working weeks and weeks I have off. I also tend to have little cut out images of my favourite artists works spread around my Filofax.

Here is a picture of how I use the large reminder stickers and you can see how many bills I have to pay a month....thats a lot of bills! I have bills coming out of my ears! 

Onto my day on a page diary inserts which I love! Somedays I am really busy and other days theres hardly anything to write. I know one things for sure, I wont be purchasing a day on a page for next year as it was so expensive! Another unfortunate thing about a day on a page is that it takes up so much room, hence why I use the Finsbury in A5. The ring size can handle my diary inserts and allows me to put more paper inside.

Cute Cute Stickers came today!!!

Today has been quite a crazy morning. I got a letter saying I was going to be in a jury. So Im still very shocked but hey, onto more important things hehe. These packages I had completely forgot about and im so ashamed of myself. Good job the shop I ordered from were decent honest people. Anyway, i ordered another pack of Joo Zoo stickers because they were absolutely adorable and i was scared of running out. Ive also ordered another sticker pack but im not quite sure what the stickers are going to be like. I also got some freebie stickers YAY ^u^

Today was a good day!

Today I had started my shift and was pleased to recieve my Filofax parcel. I thought it had been sent to my home address but had not. I got super excited! The leather is sooo smooth! Its simple and feels exactly the same as my cambridge satchel. Its the same material. If you want a matching bag, look no further than The Cambridge Satchel Company. They even do pink neon bags! Anyway so pleased with this purchase. Heres some pics! I love taking pics :-))

Visiting The Filofax Store...

On Saturday I went to meet my friend in London. She kindly agreed to come with me to the Filofax store which, correct me if Im wrong but was the Flagship store called Pens and Paper. As I got closer I got more and more excited as Ive never been in the store before. I knew, I wouldnt leave the store without a Filofax and I wasnt wrong! :-)  As I got into the store there was two members of staff just standing...waiting for customers. As they began to notice I was going to buy a Filofax another staff member appeared, so now there was three! One of the ladies mentioned that they had a sale and I quickly rushed over. YOU MENTION SALE, WHERE? I looked up and there it was the Almond coloured Amazona in personal size...when I looked at the price I was shocked!£28 what a bargain!! I also grabbed the wine coloured Holborn zip and went over to the counter. My friend couldnt believe I had picked up two Filofaxes. I got both Filofaxes on sale and a little keychain that looked exactly like the new Filofax original that Im still waiting for in the post. Altogether I had a brilliant time in London and hope to visit the other store very soon! Here's some pics!

My Washi/Decorative tape collection so far!

I've been watching a few tag videos on YouTube so far. My two favourites have been my purpley life and love4creativity. These girls have sooo many washi tapes so i need to catch up and collect more! Compared to their collection, mine is nothing. I took a pic for you to see. I buy washi tape from places like Amazon, Ebay, and Etsy. I will also be visiting London tomorrow and hopefully the Paperchase flagship store plus Filofax :D Look forward to posting some pics from my London trip!
